The Ministry of Agriculture and the Croatian Chamber of Economy invite you to the opening ceremony of the Green Week, which will be attended by hundreds of visitors and exhibitors from 60 countries in the period from 17 to 26 January 2020, in Berlin, with Croatia as this year’s partner country.
THURSDAY – OPENING CEREMONY
Thursday, 16 January at 6 p.m.
In Berlin’s City Cube, to be attended by Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković, Minister of Agriculture Marija Vučković, President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy Luka Burilović and numerous high officials from Croatia and the world.
Press statements are scheduled to be given after the end of the ceremony.
FRIDAY – TOUR OF THE FAIR AND PRESS CONFERENCE
Friday, 17 January at 8 a.m.
Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia Andrej Plenković, Minister of Agriculture Marija Vučković and German Minister of Agriculture Julija Klöckner will officially open the Fair with a visit to the Croatian exhibitors (in Hall 10.2., Messe Berlin). This will be followed by a press conference at 9 a.m., held by Minister of Agriculture Marija Vučković, President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy Luka Burilović and Croatian Ambassador to Germany Gordan Bakota.
At the opening ceremony, Croatia will be represented by the world-renowned Croatian tenor Đani Stipaničev, the eminent stage actress and singer Renata Sabljak and the young dance and vocal group “Folklorelektro”. During the Fair, in the common Hall 10.2., Croatia will be represented by some fifty exhibitors, big and small agricultural and food companies and family farms. Visitors to the fair will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the distinctive Croatian traditional dishes prepared from Croatian foodstuffs in the Croatian national restaurant in Berlin, located in Hall 10.
